REVIEW FROM THE SYRACUSE POST STANDARD

Bach Cantata 51 Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen with The Skaneateles Festival, August 15, 2009

  • "Bach sets the bar high for the soprano soloist in this composition and I thought Joanna Manring performed beautifully, especially on the recitative, which conveyed so aptly an attitude of prayer and humility. Her expressive vocals opened up a sense of tenderness on the aria that...reached to the farthest seats on the grounds."
    --Linda Loomis, The Syracuse Post-Standard
  • "[Manring] displayed much control and finesse on this most demanding cantata."
    --James Welsch, The Syracuse Post-Standard
  • REVIEW FROM RADIO STATION 570 WSYR

  • "Soprano Joanna Manring, a slip of a woman, projecting a range of voice so stunning in resonance and pitch..."
